2021.12.09 01:22 booga-_-booga I love my gf but I don't don't like her

all the time if I look at a girl I either am not interested at all or all I have is sexual interest, this reached a point where I thought "love" doesn't exist and it's just the human instinct to reproduce. up until I met my gf, from day 1 I immediately felt something towards her, I knew it was different, I had zero sexual interest in her yet I felt attracted to her unlike every girl I've met.
now fast forward to now 7 months later, I still feel the same way, we never had sex neither have we even discussed it, we'd joke about it but never something serious, I still look at all other women in a sexual way if they were attractive and often fantasize about other people but never thought about her that way.

2021.12.09 01:22 rshap1 Some random Bitcoin Cash project ideas I had

I have a few Bitcoin Cash-adjacent project ideas that have been floating around in my brain for a while now, but I lack the time and resources to actually sit down and work on them at the moment. I’d like to share them publicly in the hopes that maybe someone will like an idea enough to work on it themselves, or it might inspire someone to create something similar. It might even motivate me to work on them one day! If I’m lucky, I’ll get some really good criticism and feedback so I can think about these more. Feel free to give them a look and let me know what you think.
1. u/i-tip-bitcoin-cash Automatic Reddit Bitcoin Cash Tipping Bot using u/chaintip
The problem:
Using u/chaintip on reddit is a fantastic way to introduce Bitcoin Cash to new users by giving them the chance to see it in action. I want to use a portion of my BCH to increase adoption and so I like to tip often, but I’m not always available. There might be quite a few users out there like me who see the value in tipping new users, have the funds to do so, but lack the time or interest to do so themselves.
The solution
Create a community funded reddit bot which automatically tips new users. Bitcoin Cashers who value tipping can fund this bot to tip on their behalf.
How it could work
Every hour or so, The bot would collect all the recent comments in btc and bitcoincash and choose someone at random to tip. To ensure bots and scammers don't abuse this, there would a number of conditions (which can be adjusted) in order to qualify for a tip:

  1. The user would have to be someone who never received or claimed a tip (which we now know thanks to https://stats.chaintip.org).
  2. The comment/post must have at least 10 upvotes
  3. The comment/post must be less than 3 days old
  4. The user account must be over 30 days old
  5. The user account must have more than 100 karma
The tip amount would be 20 cents but it could be dynamic based on how many available funds it has. If it has $50 to tip, it tips 20 cents, if it has $50 - $200, it tips 40 cents, if it has $200+ it tips 60 cents etc. When the bot is out of funds, it stops. If the community likes this bot and the service it provides, they can fund it via u/chaintip. There could be a dedicated section on https://stats.chaintip.org to showcase the bot’s stats so everyone can see how much its received, how much its given, how many receivers claimed the tip etc. That transparency would be necessary to give users the security they need to donate.

2. BCHWhales.com/Forum A BCH exclusive forum to streamline communication and collaboration between influential Bitcoin Cashers
The problem
BCH has no official centralized foundation, company, development team, marketing team etc. This is a good thing as BCH is likely the most decentralized project out there. However, it can be difficult to coordinate between the various big players. There are sites that are developer specific, private telegram groups, reddit subreddits and more which results in a lot of community fragmentation.
The solution
At the risk of creating a new competing standard, I propose a new forum that is exclusive to BCH owners and has communication channels automatically subdivided based on the amount of BCH you own. Anyone who owns BCH can join, but if you own 100+ BCH, you can limit the content you see to only those who own a similar amount.
How it could work
The sign up page consists of a BCH address to which you have to send (at minimum) $0.01 worth of BCH. You get an auto-generated account which records the amount of BCH in the wallet that sent the transaction. Each user gets a “badge” which signifies the tier of amount of BCH they own.
For instance, If you have $1.00 worth of BCH in the wallet you used, you’d receive the 0 - .1 BCH Badge. If you send from a wallet that has $200.00 worth of BCH, you’d receive the 0 - .1 BCH Badge, and the .1 - .5 BCH Badge. If you send from a wallet that has $5000 worth of BCH, you’d have the 10+ BCH Badge and all the subsequent lower tier badges would also automatically be attached to your account.
The initial site would be a simple reddit-clone forum type of site. However, a user can only view posts and comments from users within their ownership tier and below. You can also choose to filter out content based on your tier. Example, I verified that I own 50 BCH so I can't see posts and comments from users who own 100+ but I can choose to only see posts and comments from users who own at least 5 BCH etc. DMs wouldn't apply to this so high tier users can communicate to low tier users. High tier users can also choose to allow lower tier users to view their content, if they have a post they want everyone to see.
So what’s the point? By being so restrictive, its clearly not a site to directly influence adoption like read.cash and noise.cash. This is more of an exclusive club. All users must prove they own at least some BCH to enter which immediately prevents bots and spammers. It also makes it very easy for BCH "Whales" to communicate with each other. There are many different types of people who own 100+ BCH - developers, miners, marketers, investors, entrepreneurs, merchants, early BTC adopters from before the fork, etc. All of them have one thing in common - they all have a strong financial incentive to further BCH adoption, awareness and development, to increase on chain transactions, real word usage, and ultimately raise the price of their “investment”. They can create an anonymous account on this site (perhaps filter out all the content from users who own less than 20 BCH) and foster BCH related discussions with other people who have verified that they own a certain amount of BCH and can put their money where their mouth is so to speak. No need for invitations, wading through lots of noise (spam, price speculation), appealing to the masses via crowd-funding campaigns, or wasted time talking to someone who you hope is on the same page as you.
I think this is a cool idea, but to be honest I don't know if its a good idea.
3. BCHStressTest.com A biannual community funded automatic Bitcoin Cash stress test
The problem
Bitcoin Cash had a successful stress test back in 2018. There’s been a lot of heated discussion regarding whether or not to do this again. Those opposed say the main chain should be kept clear of spam and used only for real life transactions while stress testing should be done only on the testnet. While those in favor say we should see if BCH can actually scale as well as we claim and if current solutions and providers can handle the load. Plus it'd be great exposure.
The solution
Build a tool to automatically stress test BCH twice (or three times) a year. You don’t have to ask anyone permission to do this on Bitcoin Cash, so if there was some tool that triggered thousands of $0.01 transactions based on the amount of funds it has, the community can decide if it's a worthwhile endeavor and choose to fund it or not.
How it could work
I didn’t do any testing or prototyping, but I’m sure it can’t be that hard to put together a script which spams out $0.01 transactions to a pool of addresses. If an address in this pool has funds, it is sent out randomly back to the pool and this process continues indefinitely until there are no funds left for the minimum fee. For the community to be interested in funding this, there would need to be a lot of transparency and proof showing where the funds are actually sent. This would all have to be open source and ideally independently audited for security. We’d have to see how many transactions one can buy for their donation amount , a live ticker showing how many saved up transactions there are, a live countdown until the next test and a lot of analysis after the fact showing how many transactions were sent, how much was paid in fees, how long did each transaction take etc.
Since some users are vehemently opposed to on chain stress tests, perhaps there can be a donation option which prevents a certain amount of transactions by greatly increasing the fee. So this could truly be community driven as to whether or not the test proceeds.
4. WorkoutBuddies.com A tool to motivate a group of friends to exercise through competition/gamification.
The problem
It can be very difficult to find the motivation to exercise when you're alone. People have better incentive and accountability if they attend a gym, exercise class, sports league or meetup with a friend. But that can cost money, be too rigid of a schedule, or maybe its just hard to find a friend or family member that lives close by and is also willing to exercise with you on a regular basis and at the same time.
The solution
A virtual workout group where each users’ exercise activity is tracked and compared against each other. The motivation comes from recreating the feeling of exercising in a group, even though you're all exercising at your own pace in your own locations.
How it could work
Create a virtual workout group and invite your family/friends/coworkers/internet buddies to join. Each user uses a fitness tracker app (such as Strava) to record their GPS while walking, running, or cycling. That data is extracted via API and sent to the group. All the members of the group can see each others’ activities, total mileage, and total time. Each group creator can set custom time frames and victory conditions. For instance, the winner is the one with the most miles cycled in 2 weeks, most hours spent running in 3 days, most calories burnt in any activity in 1 week etc. Each user can then see each others rankings and get daily motivational notifications informing them of their rankings and performance etc.
This could work without any monetary component at all, just as a way to keep a group of friends who live in different parts of the world motivated. I might even throw together some private version of this just for myself and my friends one day. However, an optional added financial incentive can help motivate users even more if they know they stand to lose or gain money depending on how much they exercise.
Bitcoin Cash could enhance this by having the group creator set a minimum amount of BCH required to join the group and a custom payout method. So each user puts in 1$ worth of BCH and either the winner takes all, the top 3 users split it 3 ways, or maybe each user gets a percentage of the funds back depending how much they contributed to the total amount of miles/hours done by the group.
Not sure if advanced features like escrow/smart contracts or something would be necessary as I see this more of a way for friends to stay motivated instead of a way to make money which can invite cheating. Also this could potentially be a good business model for a centralized custodial company to manage.
The company that makes this can take some small percentage of every BCH payout which allows funded development and possibly even be profitable one day with enough users. If the company was focused less on profits and more on BCH adoption, the percentage could be used to automatically grant the winners free BCH, or some small amount to new users to get started, or other types of airdrops and incentives for people to use the service. Maybe some kind of site wide race, tiered tournaments, or public groups?
Anyways, thanks for making it this far, I hope you found these ideas interesting and maybe inspiring. Please don't hold back the criticism, comments or suggestions!
